Welcome to Invest In Seven (the "Platform"), the world's first entrepreneur-only social network operated by Invest In Seven LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, mobile applications for iOS and Android, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and us. They incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines we may post on the Platform from time to time. We may update these Terms at any time, and we will notify you of material changes via email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and capable of forming a binding contract. You may not use the Services if you are barred from doing so under applicable laws or if your account has been previously suspended or terminated by us.
To access full features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including your real name, email address, and other details as requested. You agree to maintain the accuracy of your account information and to notify us of any changes. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts without our permission.
If you represent a company or organization, you warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
As a user of Invest In Seven, you agree to use the Services responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws, including U.S. federal and state laws. You must not
– Post, share, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
– Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
– Upload viruses, malware, or any code that could damage or interfere with the Services.
– Engage in spamming, phishing, or unsolicited advertising.
– Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
– Collect or harvest personal information from other users without their consent.
– Use automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access the Services without our written permission.
Our Platform is designed for entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge. You agree to abide by our Community Guidelines, which prohibit discriminatory behavior, hate speech, and any actions that undermine the supportive nature of our entrepreneur community. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of user-generated content, profiles, or advice shared on the Platform.
You retain ownership of any original content you post, upload, or share on the Services ("User Content"), such as profiles, posts, messages, or resources. However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and perform your User Content in connection with providing and promoting the Services. This license ends when you delete your User Content or close your account, except for content that has been shared with others or where retention is required by law.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights.
We own all intellectual property rights in the Services, including but not limited to software, designs, trademarks, logos, and content we provide (excluding User Content). You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without our express written consent.
Feedback you provide about the Services may be used by us without compensation or attribution to you.
Our Services include features such as creating profiles, posting in feeds, sending connection requests, private messaging, accessing resources, and community forums. These are provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
We may offer premium features or subscriptions in the future. If you subscribe to paid services, you agree to pay the applicable fees, and we may automatically renew and charge your payment method unless you cancel. All payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
These limitations apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages and regardless of the form of action (contract, tort, or otherwise).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Invest In Seven LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately, but these Terms' provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, indemnification) will continue.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
For users in the USA, we comply with applicable consumer protection laws. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver. If we fail to enforce any right, it does not constitute a waiver.
